Description
This is just 100% pure Carolina Reaper powder in a handy glass vial. The Carolina Reaper Chilli (formerly known as HP22B) was the the official Hottest Chilli in the World from 2013 – 2023! It delivers an average of 1,641,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) and is said to peak at 2.2 million SHU’s.
It is a hybrid between a Habanero and Naga Viper, both of the Capsicum Chinense family.
The Carolina Reaper is described as having a fruity, sweet taste with a hint of cinnamon and chocolate undertones. It has a slow burn, building over several minutes before it reaches its peak.
We dry the chillies, then powder them – nothing else is added.
